Chloë Whitehorn, Playwright
Described as Dorothy Parker meets Neil Labute, Chloë Whitehorn is an award-winning playwright, novelist, and underwater photographer. Born in California, Chloë's hippie-artist mother raised her in a world of circus artists, puppeteers and activists (she frequently attended protests in a stroller) until moving to Canada where she spent her days figure skating, writing short stories, and developing a love of acting. After writing her own one-woman show, Chloë shifted her focus from acting to writing for the theatre. Her plays have been performed across Canada and the United States and published in various collections, including “Divine Wrecks and Other Morally Questionable Tragedies”.
Grace Hans, Director
Grace began directing as a teenager, working on a devised play commissioned by the Heritage Lottery Fund and written by the students of Southend High School for Girls. From there she launched her own company for the young adults in her community, producing and directing five productions between 2017-19. Her knowledge of theatrical styles has been developed by her studies in Production and Technical Arts at LAMDA, as well as her experience in the fringe theatres of London. Her directing experience is varied - from Greek tragedies to modern musicals - with her focus now on new writing and developing scripts with playwrights.
